Robert Burns

Robert Burns 1759–1796

Robert Burns was born in Alloway, Scotland, the eldest son of tenant farmers. He was a man of great intellect and considered a pioneer of the Romantic movement. Widely regarded as the national bard of Scotland his poems and songs are celebrated throughout the world.
